Easy Desserts

When it comes to desserts, I LOVE making fun, fancy sweets -
and trying new recipes.
But, sometimes...
... it's always good to go for something easy and classic.
(Especially after a long day at work.)

- First up -
Strawberry, blueberry, peach cobbler

Combine ingredients into a bowl:
1 1/2 cups diced peaches
1 1/2 cups diced strawberries
1 cup blueberries
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar

Combine topping:
2-3 cups quick oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
3-4 tablespoons of crushed almonds

Place the berry mixture in a baking dish.
Cover with topping mix, and dice up 1 stick of butter or margarine.
Place in preheated 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes... until the top is brown.
Dish up with some vanilla ice cream!

Want to know the secret to SUPER, SUPER ooey, gooey, sticky Rice Krispy Treats?

Add 3 tablespoons of butter to a large pot, on low heat.

Add 1 jar of MARSHMALLOW FLUFF!!!

Stir together until you get a creamy mixture.

Add 1/2 bag of mini-marshmallows to the mixture, and take off the burner.

Add about 3-4 cups of the cereal, mix together.

Spoon out into a pan.
For festive holidays - like Valentine's Day or Saint Patrick's Day, you can add red or green food coloring...
... makes a cute treat :)
