My journey to MAKE a padded headboard for my parents' bedroom is finally starting to take shape!
After searching through HUNDREDS of fabric samples, my mom FINALLY found one she loves.
We ended up finding it at Hancock Fabrics.
It's really nice upholstery fabric, so it ran $24.99 a yard.
But, luckily they were having a sale... so it was 50% off!
We ended up buying 2 1/2 yards.
Now that we have the fabric - it's time to choose a paint color.
50 shades of gray....... literally.
We're going to paint the walls this weekend - and hopefully get the room FINISHED!
As for the headboard...
here's a little sneak peek of my dad and I hard at work!
I won't give it all away just yet...
but the headboard is about 50% complete.
